What is the UK minimum statutory holiday requirement?

I am an HGV driver and I think my employer is falling foul of the legal holidays he is giving me. Can you tell me how many days he is required to give me by law each year not including bank holidays? I work full time.

Every worker in the UK is now entitled to a minimum period of 4 weeks paid holiday, by law every year. There are no exceptions - every employer in every sector of industry and commerce has to permit its qualifying employees, whether full or part time to take a minimum of 4 weeks holiday per annum.

These 4 weeks can include public holidays (currently 8 days in the UK) or days off in lieu.
