My employers are changing our shift patterns but have only given us thirty days notice. What notice are we entitled to?

My employers are changing our shift patterns from Mon-Fri to now include weekend work. They have given us thirty days notice but before we used to have ninety days notice. What notice are we entitled to?

You are entitled to contractual or statutory notice of a change in your terms and conditions of employment - which is up to twelve weeks if you have twelve or more years service. So, for example,  if you have eight years service you are entitled to eight weeks notice regardless of the contract.
