Can I resign my job if I am suspended from work?

Can I resign my employment if I am suspended from work?

Yes you can. Your suspension does not end the employment contract and you are consequently required to give as much notice as is required by your employment contract. You may wish to ask your employer if they would rather pay you in lieu of notice so that the employment contract can be ended all the sooner and you can start any new job that may have been offered to you.
