Can a company put tracker devices in the vans without asking the drivers?

Can a company put tracker devices in the vans without asking the drivers?

Legally the company is entitled to track its equipment. Good employment practice would dictate that there should be a consultation exercise. If you are unhappy you should enter a grievance. The company could be considered in breach of contract if they refuse to adopt a reasonable policy. See the Information Commissioners website.
